Frequently Asked Questions

/ FAQ
What level of detail do you provide during pre-construction?

We support early-stage underwriting with preliminary layouts, pricing, and scope. As the project matures, we provide detailed budgets, schedules, and permitting timelines to support RFP responses and capital planning.

/ FAQ
How do you support developer timelines and exit goals?

We align design, procurement, and construction milestones to meet your deadlines, whether you're building to own or planning a project sale at NTP or COD. Our documentation supports investor and tax equity requirements.

/ FAQ
Can I claim the Domestic Content Bonus on this project?

We track qualified U.S.-made components and can design to meet domestic content thresholds. We'll advise if your bill of materials qualifies for the additional 10% ITC and support the documentation required for compliance.

/ FAQ
Can you help us navigate permitting and interconnection?

Yes. Jefferson Energy manages the entire entitlement process, including AHJ permitting, utility interconnection applications, and timeline coordination, ensuring a clean handoff to NTP or COD with minimal friction.

/ FAQ
What incentives and tax credits can I stack to improve project economics?

Most projects qualify for the 30% ITC, MACRS depreciation, and potentially a 10% domestic content bonus. Additional layers may include Energy Community, Low-Income, or Section 48C credits. We help model and structure the capital stack to maximize return.
